With barely two weeks to go before we usher in 2018, vehicle makers such as Hyundai Asia Resources Inc (HARI) look back at the previous year to see just how it performed. And by the looks of it, HARI seems quite satisfied with how it did.

While the year isn’t over just yet, it seems that HARI is on track to meet its target of selling 37,500 passenger and commercial vehicles for the year 2017. This is in line with the industry’s own goal of 450,000 units—the largest to date.

This stellar performance can be attributed to HARI’s newly-launched Commercial Vehicle line that caters to truck and bus companies looking for world-class vehicles for their fleets. Rolled out only in late 2016, HARI’s CV segment grew by a staggering 883 percent vis-à-vis the previous year. Thhis simply show how strong the demand for such vehicles are, particularly for the transport and logistics sector.

With all these factors, HARI gears up for a rousing 2018. The coming year is expected to bring in more sales as the country continues to set its sights on new targets and even more growth. HARI, for its part, will meet this head-on with products such as the new Xcient line and a truck and bus line from China.

These, and other new products, should make things truly exciting for Hyundai in 2018.
