Mitsubishi and Fuso Motors Will Soon Open Their Doors to the People of Lapu-Lapu City

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has consistently been topping the sales harts over the past few years. Nameplates like the Montero Sport and Strada are crowd favorites and seem to have caught the Filipinos’ fancy. Yet this doesn’t mean the Japanese carmaker is about to rest on its laurels.

On the contrary, MMPC, through its authorized dealer partner Fast Autoworld Philippines Corporation (FAPC) recently broke ground for another dealership in the ever-growing city of Lapu-Lapu in Cebu. And it wasn’t just a Mitsubishi dealer but a Fuso outlet as well.

The new FAPC-Lapu-Lapu branch sits on a 10,505sq.m. lot that will be divided into two in order to house both showrooms and service centers. The Mitsubishi showroom will be able to display nine (9) vehicles at one time, while the service area will have 23 full service bays. The latter facility is perfect for periodic maintenance and other repairs.

The Fuso dealership, meanwhile, will sit next door and have a five-truck display area. The service facility, on the other hand, would be able to accommodate 7 large trucks at any given time. In addition, there is a 2,790sq.m lot that can be used for future expansion.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held recently and attended by MMPC, Fuso, and Lapu-Lapu and Mairgondon officials. The newest addition to the growing Cebu and Mitsubishi/Fuso dealer network is the third one in the province of Cebu and the 10th in the Visayas and Mindanao regions. Both dealerships aim to cater to the needs of both private motorists and commercial and transport businesses in the city.

The Mitsubishi and Fuso Lapu-Lapu dealerships will rise along ML Quezon National Highway, Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lau City. They are expected to open their doors to the public by November 2018.
