During the recently concluded Print Philippines 2017 and Pack Print Plas 2017 events held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Japanese printing and projector tech expert Ricoh was among the top exhibitors. It showcased its latest wares, services, and a preview of one of its upcoming products.

One major highlight of Ricoh’s booth is its new line of multi-function printers that come standard with Smart Operation Panel and EZ Plus Applications. In a nutshell, the aforementioned features help streamline and shorten the scanning and printing processes by way of app-based technology. Utilizing these would increase productivity, efficiency, and quality of work.

Alongside these printers is its soon-to-be-launched product that would help those in the T-shirt or garment printing services step up their game. Without disclosing its actual model name, Ricoh treated its booth visitors with a sneak-peek of the said product, which is capable of “Direct-To- Garment” printing, a process that’s said to be better than the traditional silk screen method.

“The local printing industry is incredibly exciting right now as the quality and accessibility of technology continues to grow. And we, at Ricoh, always strive to uncover innovative ways to serve valuable contributions to the industry that demands constant innovation and growth,” shared Ricoh Philippines President and CEO Eric Sulit.

Also included on Ricoh’s display are its industrial printers and its high-tech Interactive Whiteboard called the Ricoh IWB-D6510.

The former is pegged as an ideal workhorse for on-demand industries today such as retail, hospitality, financial, and education, among others. The latter, on the other hand, is an interactive office appliance that enables up to 20 users to conduct real-time meetings and presentations, no matter where they are. This is done via internet-based tech. As an interactive whiteboard, all users can, in turn, make and edit presentations.

Finally, Ricoh’s booth wouldn’t be complete without its array of projectors for office, business, and educational use.
