Bridgestone has been as passionate in making great tires as they are about being a constructive member of the global community and to showcase that drive in helping the environment and the communities in their region Philippine Allied Enterprises Corporation (PAEC), the exclusive distributor of Bridgestone in the country hosted the first ever Bridgestone ECOmmunity.

In an effort to raise environmental awareness and encourage greener activities to contribute to achieving a sustainable society, ECOmmunity was a weekend-long activity highlighting the company's thrust for sustainable motoring for the future held at the Glorietta Activity Center last August 9-10.

Bridgestone ecologically sound tire production has put them at the forefront of this charge in saving the environment. They have incorporated the use of recycled materials in tire production, use a manufacturing process that utilizes renewable energy and minimizes waste and have cut emissions by producing better-performance tires.

The ECOmmunity campaign was also designed to educate motorists on how to be safer and smarter motorists in the country. Free seminars on road safety and other motoring topics advocating responsible driving and greener motoring habits were conducted at the Glorietta Activity Center. As an additional highlight, the local communities that have been visited and helped by Bridgestone PAEC employees through the years were commemorated in the Bridgestone Cares exhibit. Tree planting and children's playground constructions were some of the activities presented.

“To showcase these and further our mission of improving the safety and lives of people everywhere, especially on the road, we have built Bridgestone’s first ever ECOmmunity. Rest assured that we will continuously strive to provide our customers with the best products and services.
