Car Awards Group, Inc., (CAGI), an organization of the country’s top motoring journalists, and Carmudi Philippines, an online car buying platform, has joined forces once again for this year’s Car of the Year Philippines (COTY-P) and Truck of the Year Philippines (TOTY-P) awards.

This renewed partnership aims to pursue the mission of helping consumers by providing in-depth information about the various models available in the market today. In addition, the new Motorcycle of the Year Philippines (MOTY-P) awards will also be green and go as part of CAGI’s staple line up.

With regard to this, the 2017  CAGI COTY-P, TOTY-P and MOTY-P awards will hold Test Fest, a series of events in which a number of qualitative and quantitative processes will be conducted to test each vehicle (discussed in detail in the recently concluded CAGI Dealer Talks).

“It’s finally about time to give due recognition to our two-wheeled contemporaries on the road and it’s a good thing Carmudi is here to ride along with us. With now an even wider reach, we get to have an opportunity to serve a much bigger market in our transport industry and somehow with our own efforts be able to encourage development of more advanced vehicles in the future,” said CAGI President Ronald Rey de los Reyes.

On the other hand, Carmudi Philippines’s Chief Operating Officer Cholo Syquia stated that his company, which has recently ventured into publishing, is excited to support CAGI and its efforts to make car buying a better experience. “This will provide us a thorough report on the latest model in the market, both for cars and motorcycles,” he adds.
