Have a unique camping experience at the Bonifacio High Street Glamping in the City

As part of its Summer on the Street activities, the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) through its Bonifacio High Street (BHS) park, is inviting everyone to come and be part of the Glamping in the City. This will happen on April 29 to 30 and will feature fun activities for the whole family.

But what is “glamping” anyway? In its most basic definition, glamping is a combination of the words “glamor” and “camping,” and it’s one of the trendiest summer activities today. It’s like a typical camping experience but with luxury amenities on the side such as restaurants, food markets, specialty stalls, and other things normally associated with malls, urban parks, and the likes.

In this case, the BHS Glamping in the City will have outdoor survival workshops, night time adventure races, boodle fights (hands-on or “de kamay” group dining over HUGE spreads of food on giant banana leaf sheets), and fitness sessions, among others.

A minimum of P7,000 single- or accumulated-receipt purchase at any BHS, One Parkade, Two Parkade, and Central Square establishments is all it takes to join the Glamping in the City. The pass comes with a crawl-in tent goof for 2 to 3 people. For purchases amounting to P10,000 and above, a 4-person lakeside tent is up for the taking.

Just present the said proof of purchase(s) to the registration areas located at C1 BHS Central (near Din Tai Fung), C3 BHS Central (near Ever New), and B2 BHS (near Timezone). Do note that the registration will run until April 25 only from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

“For the very first time, a camp will be set up right smack in the middle of shops, restaurants, and other establishments. We are literally setting up a campsite in the middle of the mall. Summer camp has never been more fun,” said Sean Luarca, Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation Marketing Manager.
