Yesterday, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. unveiled a refreshed version of its popular Mobilio Multi-purpose Utility Vehicle (MUV). Apparently, the Japanese carmaker was only warming up. Now, it follows this up with an equally spiffy update of the cool and versatile Honda Jazz.

First seen just a few months ago in other shores, our market welcomes the 2017 Jazz, which sports a new front grille, Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), revised front and rear bumpers, and redesigned alloy wheels.  While it may look compact on the outside, the Jazz boasts a spacious cabin with flexible ULTRa seats. Apart from this, the facelifted model now gets goodies like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment interface across the range.

Higher spec VX CVT and RS variants, meanwhile, are fitted with navigation, multi-view reverse camera, Voice control, Miracast, HDMI connectivity, speed sensing door locks, and touch panel ventilation system, just to name a few. The sporty RS even adds a pair of front tweeters.

Speaking of RS, the 2017 Honda Jazz will indeed come with a vibrant RS Navi version. The top-dog Jazz model features LED headlamps with DRLs, front grille with RS badge, RS-spec front and rear bumpers, gloss black side mirrors, gloss black alloy rims, side sills, and RS-design rear spoiler.

The Honda Jazz RS Navi’s sporty theme continues inside with niceties like seat fabric, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob that are all accented by orange stitching. It also gets added safety via side and curtain SRS airbags.

Whichever variant one chooses, the 2017 Honda Jazz will be powered by a 1.5-liter SOHC i-VTEC motor that dishes out 120hp and 145Nm. This is mated to either a 5-speed manual or Continuously Variable Transmission. The CVT likewise comes with the vaunted Eco Assist System that helps save on precious fuel.

The 2017 Honda Jazz is now available at all Honda dealerships nationwide. The RS Navi even comes in an exclusive Phoenix Orange Pearl color. Prices are as follows:

Honda Jazz 1.5 V MT: Php799,000

Honda Jazz 1.5 V CVTL Php849,000

Honda Jazz 1.5 VX Navi CVT: Php949,000

Honda Jazz 1.5 RS Navi: Php1,029,000
