As many folks celebrated April Fool’s Day last April 1, Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) wasn’t fooling around when it officially welcomed its new President and General Manager, Mr. Noriyuki Takakura.
With over 15 years of experience working at Honda, Mr. Takakura has held various positions in the areas of Product Planning, Marketing, and Sales. Before heading over to the Philippines to head the Japanese brand’s automotive unit, Noriyuki Takakujra was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Australia Pt. Ltd. He will now be tasked with bringing HCPI to the next phase of its continued growth and development in the country.
Toshio Kuwahara
As for his predecessor, Mr. Toshio Kuwahara, he will be assuming a new role as General Director of Honda Vietnam Co Ltd. This seems right up his alley, as he has extensive knowledge and experience in Sales, Marketing, and Dealer Networking. These fields of expertise will be very useful in pushing Honda’s automotive and motorcycle arms to new heights in fast-growing Vietnam.
