Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the exclusive local distributor of Hyundai vehicles, has made the new Creta subcompact crossover and Genesis G90 premium sedan as its centerpieces at this year’s Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). Both models target specific markets and have their own unique takes on what an enjoyable ride really is all about.

HARI pegs the Creta as having a good combination of “strength and beauty.” With that said, its exterior look is both sleek and rugged, which would appeal to growing families who love to travel. Beyond styling though, the Creta’s body is reinforced with Ultra High-Strength Steel (UHSS) and Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS) for added rigidity.

Its fabric-laden interior, on the other hand, seats 5 people and has manual air conditioning to keep everyone cool and comfy, especially this summer. Moreover, it also has a 4-speaker audio system with integrated radio, CD, MP3, and Aux for added entertainment on the road.

The gasoline engine comes with a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission, while the diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed manual only.

Fresh out of Hyundai’s luxury brand Genesis Motors, the Genesis G90 was also among HARI’s highlights in its MIAS 2017 booth. Given that it is aimed toward the luxury market, it goes without saying that the G90 offers a host of noteworthy stuff inside and out.

The G90 looks ahead with s stylish front end that’s dominated by a wide grille with chrome slats and outline. Complimenting it is a set of sharp-looking headlights with LED daytime running lights for maximum day and night road visibility. A bold character line that runs from the headlight’s edge to the tip of the tail light defines the G90’s profile.

The G90’s cabin is an inviting world of Nappa leather seats and trims, as well as panels lined with wood. It also has 3-zone climate control for a more comfortable ride on hot or cold days. Its main attraction though is a massive 12.3-inch touch screen infotainment system that controls audio, navigation, and various vehicle functions, among others. Behind the front seats are 2 9.2-inch screens with control dials for rear passengers to enjoy while on transit. Rounding this off are 17 speakers with Quantum Logic surround sound.
