Chinese tech giant Lenovo has launched its latest ThinkPad lineup in the Philippine market. Aside from the durability the lineup is known for, it is now powered by Intel’s 7th generation Kaby Lake processor which is said to boost processing and clock speeds, as well as improve graphic performance.

In an event held recently in Makati City, Lenovo Philippines introduced 4 new ThinkPad models. These are the E470, T470, X270, and the ThinkStation P410 which is the lineup’s only desktop model.

Style-wise, Lenovo says that the new ThinkPad models cater to people on-the-go, which explains why they have become sleeker and more elegant in design. Most importantly, each Lenovo ThinkPad model has been subjected to stringent military-grade Mil-SPEC 810G quality and durability testing procedures to ensure that they won’t easily break down under rigorous use.

Another cool feature of the latest ThinkPad models are the improved touchpads that support Microsoft Precision TouchPad for a more consistent and on-point user experience. Moreover, they are also capable of supporting Windows 10 Pro with an optimized Microsoft Signature Image for smoother and faster work. In terms of security, Lenovo stated that all ThinkPad models support Microsoft Hello facial recognition and fingerprint scanning.

Powering the latest Lenovo ThinkPad lineup is Intel’s 7th generation Kaby Lake processor. It boasts Hyper-Tethering which improves multi-tasking efficiency. It also allows the ThinkPads to perform better under heavy use, especially when it comes to visual arts like 3D imaging and video rendering. This makes the Lenovo ThinkPads a great tool for engineers, architects, 3D animators, photographers, videographers, and more.

Aside from the latest ThinkPad models, Lenovo Philippines also unveiled 2 other laptops with Intel 7th gen Kaby Lake processors. These are the V310 and the Miix 510. The former is capable of supporting DVD drives or another battery for extended use. The latter, on the other hand, has a detachable screen which can be used as a tablet.

Of note, the Lenovo ThinkPad T470, X270, ThinkStation P410, and Miix 510 will be available in the local market this April, while the Lenovo ThinkPad E470 and the V310 are now available. For the compete lineup of Lenovo products, visit http://www3.lenovo.com/ph/en
