The year 2016 was a great time for tire makers Michelin and BFGoodrich. Both tire brands undertook a slew of activities that not only brought them closer to the consumer but likewise enhanced their image as companies that aren’t just here to sell you rubber.

Michelin, for instance, launched its latest Primacy SUV tires earlier in the year. With Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) being all the rage nowadays, Michelin offers motorists a tire that suits their vehicle’s needs and capabilities.

As mentioned above, new products weren’t the only things worth mentioning about during the year that just passed. Michelin undertook its Corporate Social Responsibility campaigns to help the environment and its fellowmen. Then there was the Shell Eco Marathon that highlighted how alternative energy sources can also be a cool way to fuel our motoring lives, as well as our vehicles. And of course, there were the Fill Up With Air events that made sure that the tires you purchased were properly inflated.

To further strengthen its presence, Michelin has recently launched a revitalized website that boasts new features and a more interactive user experience. Website visitors can now find the right tire for their car or SUV, as well as locate the nearest dealer to purchase their next tire. It’s all to ensure that everyone who logs on to http://www.michelin.com.ph/PH/en/homepage.html will get the speedy and convenient service they truly deserve.

And speaking of offering world-class quality, Michelin and BFGoodrich will be rolling out (no pun intended) their new tires with a six year warranty beginning next year. The campaign aims to highlight that Tires Aren’t Bananas—that they will still remain fresh even after three grueling years of use.

Yes, 2016 was truly an awesome year for these tire tire companies. And by the looks of it, they were just warming up—2017 may just be scorching. Get ready to burn rubber, responsibly, of course.
