Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) recently held its 20thMitsubishi Motors Philippines Skills Olympics (MMPSO) at its CT Citimotors, Inc. dealership and service center in Las Piñas City. A number of participants (or “Olympians”) from the brand’s dealership networks nationwide took part in the said competition to showcase their very best customer service and technical skills.

As before, the MMPSO challenged the Olympians with a set of categories. These include the Fuso Sales, Sales Hotshots, Parts Specialist, Warranty Officer, and Service Adviser for male and female Olympians. Moreover, it also had the Service Technician competition for General Repair (Sr.) and Preventive Maintenance Service Tech (Jr.).

To spice things up, winners of the Service Adviser and Service Technician competitions were given a chance to represent the country in the 2018 Mitsubishi Motors Global Service Skills Contest.

Also new for this year was the addition of the category called the Technical School competition. In a nutshell, this new category served as the battleground for OJT technicians from different colleges and universities nationwide. Its purpose was to gauge the participants’ abilities in terms of basic automotive servicing, component disassembly and reassembly, and simple troubleshooting.
