Shell Philippines has launched its latest version of the Advance Ultra and Advance AX7 motorcycle engine oils. The Shell Advance Ultra and Advance AX7 both offer complete protection against engine wear and corrosion.

The former is formulated with what Shell refers to as its PurePlus Technology. Without delving much into its technicalities, the Shell PurePlus Technology is a process by which natural gas is turned into base oil that’s significantly cleaner than conventional crude oil. The said base oil is then mixed with cleansing additives that make it a 100% purely synthetic product that cleans and protects the engine.

The Shell Advance AX7, on the other hand, boasts the brand’s Active Cleansing formula that prevents the build-up of dirt particles that, in turn, cause component-damaging friction to occur on moving parts in the engine. Similar to the Advance Ultra, it prolongs and protects the engine. It also helps the engine respond faster and deliver more power. Best part is that it reduces engine noise and vibration so riders can experience a more spirited ride.

To showcase the performance of the Shell Advance Ultra and Advance AX7, Shell Philippines recently held an Independence Day Ride down south. Together with teams of riders and different biker clubs, they went on an exciting journey to the Skyranch in Tagaytay from the SM Mall of Asia.

Along the way, the convoy faced numerous challenges such as rough terrains, pollution, traffic, changing weather conditions, and bike glitches. With Shell Advance motor oils in their machines, the riders managed to pull through with smiles and bikes that were ready for more challenges on the way back later that day.

“As part of Pilipinas Shell’s efforts in making each journey better for every Filipino, we launched the first-ever motorcycle ride that celebrated Independence Day. We held this special event to show that Shell Advance Ultra and AX7 help provide the confidence for motorcycle riders to outride any road challenges,” said Shell Advance Brand Manager Recca Menchavez.

The event also was the perfect opportunity for Shell Philippines to unveil its newest TV commercial featuring the Advance Ultra motor oil. Dubbed at the “Wheels vs. Gravity,” it showcased a Ducati motorbike beating the speed of a sky diver. With the Ducati filled with Shell Advance enhancing its performance and reliability, it won over the free-falling diver despite the disadvantages of friction and drag.
