Even before its official release this July, the all-new Audi A8 made an appearance at the world premiere of Spider-Man Homecoming in Hollywood. No less than Spider-Man Homecoming lead star Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man, arrived in a chauffeured A8.
The car, which was clad in a slightly modified camouflage, arrived at the red carpet for all the world to see. We say modified as the camo motif is a slight departure from the usual black and white swirls used by Audi. This one dons spider web-inspired designs for various parts of the exterior.
More of the new Audi A8 can be seen in Spider-Man Homecoming. Certain sections of the front and side will be shown, giving viewers a taste of what we can expect once the car is revealed within a few weeks. Moreover, moviegoers will likewise witness Audi’s new AI Traffic Jam Pilot in a scene in the film. This cool piece of kit practically drives itself, albeit for a short while. It is aimed at helping relieve driver stress during moments such as traffic jams and the like.
The new Audi A8 will be unveiled on July 11 at the Audi Summit in Barcelona. Spider-Man Homecoming, meanwhile, will hit movie theaters this July.
