Uber Brings Football Fans Closer to Manchester United

Are you a football fan, particularly of the famous Manchester United Football Club?

If you are, and you happen to live in England, then Uber has got a treat for you. The world-famous ride sharing company announced a global partnership with the famous English premier league contingent.

To help fans get to and from the games, a dedicated pickup and drop-off zone will be set up during the matches at Old Trafford, home of the Manchester United Football Club. Apart from this, fans in some 30 countries around the world will be connected to their favorite league via behind-the-scenes info and content, and other events. It’s all in the spirit of being part of one team.

Manchester United’s Group Managing Director said it best when he remarked, “Manchester United is always looking at ways in which we can improve our fans’ experience and our relationship with Uber will allow us to do this in new and exciting ways.”

Manchester United, also known as the Red Devils, is a football club that competes in the highly prestigious Premier League. Founded as far back as 1870 as the Newton Health LYR Football Club, the name was changed to the current Manchester United moniker in 1902. It has likewise found a home in Old Trafford stadium since 1910.

Now, Uber fans can catch their favorite team and stay connected all the time. Isn’t that a great way to watch football?
