If you think you are feeding your dog too much or too little, consult the back of the bag of food you are feeding them and see how much it calls for based on their weight and adjust accordingly. Once again… never guess. These grain free foods (look at Government and AKC sites for more information – though they are not all listed) are big culprits for DCM and heart disease in pets. Do NOT buy into the hype of grain free dog foods!!! If a boxer barks, chances are there is a good reason. Few boxers bark excessively. The amount to be given at every meal is reduced to 80 g and you will only feed your dog twice a day.
