I had never known of such a huge cathedral located in a relatively obscure Spanish town, Burgos, situated along riverside in the northern part of Spain. It is a town to stay at least one evening and walk it inner alleys and squares as well as visiting the Cathedral and other buildings.....and do not forget to go up the hill to visit the Castle of Burgos and visit the subterranean site.
