In the comics, Scott Lang was a thief who stole the Ant-Man suit to help save his daughter’s life. Ant-Man is a 2015 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics characters of the same name: Scott Lang and Hank Pym. Instead of letting Lang turn himself in, Hank Pym allowed him to become the new Ant-Man. Knowing that Ant-Man was going to feature specific flashback sequences with a young Dr. Hank Pym, fans wondered if the production would soon be hiring an actor to play a young Michael Douglas.
