On June 3 to 4, the Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) will host the first of 2 rounds of this year’s GT Radial Philippine Endurance Challenge (PEC).

Dubbed as the “GT Radial x 4 Oras Ng Pilipinas”, this will serve as both a test arena and a prerequisite to the “8 Oras Ng Pilipinas” which will happen in November. In detail, the GT Radial x 4 Oras Ng Pilipinas is 4-hour (240-minute) endurance race, complete with pit stops, refueling, tire changes, safety cars, and more.

A racing event to test the limits of both man and machine, the GT Radial x 4 Oras Ng Pilipinas will allow teams of 2 to 6 drivers to compete in its 4 categories. One of these is the RP Class for race cars or race-prepped machines. On the other hand, teams with slightly-modified cars can choose to compete in either the FM-1 Class (for cars that push 150 hp and above) or the FM-2 Class (for cars having less than 150 hp).

Then there’s the Manufacturer’s Cup which is the battle ground for unmodified cars, granted that they be fitted with safety equipment. This class opens doors to anyone with a stock daily-driven ride who wish to race on a legal, safe, and controlled environment.

Of note, interested participants may enter the GT Radial x 4 Oras Ng Pilipinas for a registration fee of P30,000 per entry. However, an early bird discount of P25,000 is on-going until May 15. Registrations will be accepted until May 31 only.
