It has often been said that racing improves the breed. And while Aston Martin is indeed one of the finest bred British luxury and motorsport marques, being associated with a racing team like Red Bull Racing wouldn’t hurt one bit. In fact, it can even elevate its stature even higher.
The two brands take their partnership to the next level, with a bit of help from Aston Martin’s Q division, as seen from the new Aston Martin V8 and V12 Vantage Red Bull Racing Editions. As the name suggests, these beauties are packed with goodies that not only uplift their looks even further, but likewise add a bit of racing-inspired exclusivity to the mix.
A host of carbon fiber pieces adorn the grille, splitter, diffuser, and side strakes. These are complemented by red infalls and yellow calipers for a truly racy look. Inside, more Red Bull niceties can be seen in the form of headrest embroidery, color-coded steering wheel with accent stripe on the 12 o’clock position, and carbon fiber trim.
Set in a Mariana Blue paint finish, clients can opt to have their final inspection and sill plaques signed by either of the two Red Bull Racing Formula 1 drivers, Daniel Ricciardo or Max Verstappen—giving the ultimate seal of approval. If they don’t fancy the standard color, customers can opt for either Gloss Tungsten Silver or Satin Mariana Blue.
Aston Martin will begin delivering the V8 and V12 Vantage Red Bull Racing Editions in the second quarter of the year.
