Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), the official distributor of Toyota vehicles in the country, recently held a graduation ceremony for this year’s batch of students under its TMP School of Technology (TMP Tech).

In light of this, the Sta. Rosa Laguna-based automotive tech training school boasted 75 new graduates this year, all ready to face the next challenge of becoming part of TMP’s roster of professional after-sales service workforce.

Prior to the big day, the students underwent 2 years of extensive training on how to service all types of vehicles under the Japanese carmaker. Dubbed as the Toyota General Job Automotive Servicing Course, it includes classroom lectures/written exams, hands-on training workshops, and on-the-job training under several of TMP’s dealerships.

To date, the tech school, which was founded in 2013, has produced a total of 710 professional service men and women who are employed in TMP’s 62 dealerships nationwide (including Lexus Manila).

Heading the graduation ceremony was TMP President Satoru Suzuki who was quoted as saying, “I know that you will be more than motivated now that you shall be taking on the role of true Toyota professionals, providing excellent technical service and creating more customer smiles.”
