You see them everywhere. You may have even encountered one of them on the road. And it may not have been pretty. Yet not all motorcycle riders are dangerous behind the handlebars, or so companies like TaskUs want to think.

Founded in 2009, the customer care firm has been advocating motorcycle rider safety to its employees, in the hopes that they will be responsible road users. And who better to teach them this than Harley-Davidson riders themselves.

Anyone who is worth their motorbike definitely knows the name Harley-Davidson. After all, the marque is practically synonymous with the open road and the freedom of riding. Yet despite the badass reputation that is usually attached to the Harley-Davidson name, the group wants to refute this and show that they are actually very safe riders.

One of the ways to do this is by using a helmet each time they go out. Sure, their motorbikes may have roaring engines and they themselves don cool leather jackets. Yet safety must always come first. In fact, they even have a saying that goes something like, “How much you value your brains should be the value of your helmet”, says Tres Ibanez, one of the founders of A Chosen Few MC Philippines.

The group also shared their knowledge through a toad tour that ran through Cavite, Pampanga, and Anonas in Quezon City. The tour took them to places like Lizzy’s Nook, House Teamwork, Lizard Bear Lair, and Chateau Ridiculous. This was their chance not only to share their road stories and the horrors and dangers that come with it, but likewise awarded high-performing teammates with grade-safety helmets. This is their way of advocating safety while on the road.

Yes there are definitely a lot of hell riders out there. But with groups like the Harley-Davidson riders and the TaskUs employees, the number of responsible motorbike users is growing. Hopefully, their responsible riding attitude will rub off on other riders real soon.
