With a goal of providing viable transport solutions to the riding public,  Uber is once again set to roll out a new and innovative service that likewise aims to ease our traffic woes.

Known as UberCommute, the ride-sharing service lets people who prefer to drive their own vehicles have the option of turning these into an Uber. It essentially works by allowing them to take other people going to and from the same route. It’s pretty much like carpooling. The only difference is, there are a few tangible benefits.

One of these is UberCommute helps lessen the cost of gas, maintenance and other expenses as the regular riders can split the bill with the owner. UberCommute, also known as #ShareYourDrive, will also help #SolveTraffic by lessening the number of vehicles on the road. It’s a win-win solution for everyone.

#ShareYourDrive will be available this November for vehicle models manufactured no earlier than 2006. It’s the perfect way to help solve the traffic. Plus, you could make a few new friends while you’re at it.
