Bayan Automotive Industries Corporation, the exclusive distributor of BAIC vehicles in the Philippines, recently opened its flagship showroom. To celebrate the milestone, the Chinese automotive brand also unveiled several new models set to spice up the country’s commercial vehicle market.
The BAIC flagship showroom is located at 2232 Don Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City. It sits on a 1,2000 sq. m. lot within the vicinity’s Universal Motors Corporation compound. With that being said, the 2-storey structure boasts a display area which can house up to 12 vehicles.
It also has a customer lounge where its sales and after-sales areas can be found. An Executive Office is also present in the building, which serves as an area where its daily activities are monitored.
“Today is a memorable day, an important milestone for BAIC. Definitely, this flagship showroom will not only effectively enhance the brand image of BAIC in the Philippines, but also provide a comfortable service environment for Filipino customers,” said Dr. Haiyang Dong, President and CEO of BAIC International. He added that with the establishment of the BAIC Philippines flagship showroom, the country could become a key market and a potential hub to service the ASEAN region.
Dr. Dong, together with George Chua, President and CEO of BAIC Philippines, took the showroom inauguration as an opportunity to unveil the brand’s latest additions to its commercial vehicle line up, the Bayanihan H5 and the Freedom Mini Truck. These were joined by the MZ40, MZ45 Transporter, M20, X424, and the V8.
