The Coronation Night is arguably the highlight of the prestigious Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant. Yet many also look forward to the equally exciting Parade of Beauties that showcase the stunning physique of each candidate that joins the yearly event. And this year, the Miata Club of the Philippines once again supports the beauties as they show off their winning form at the Araneta Center in Cubao.
The forty beauties from across the country were chauffeured in around 60 Mazda MX-5 roadsters, courtesy of the Miata Club of the Philippines. Besides the beauties, which were already a treat in itself, the Parade also witnessed the equally breathtaking contours of all four generations of the iconic roadster.
No less than the owners themselves played driver duties to the beauty contestants who gamely smiled and waved to onlookers as they whizzed by in the open-top roadsters. It’s their way of showing their support to the beauty tilt, which the club has been supporting as far back as 2008.
Apart from seeing a new batch of fresh faces, the Parade of Beauties likewise saw the all-new Mazda MX-5 RF in all its retractable hardtop fastback glory. The combination of a power retractable hardtop and fastback form gives owners the joys of topless motoring mixed with all-weather security. And some of beauties were among the lucky ones to ride it, since it was recently unveiled at the Manila International Auto Show.
