Proudly Philippine made and developed—this is the signature of Rota Wheels. A product of Philippine Aluminum Wheels Inc (PAWI), the wheelmaker has been in the business for over 40 years now. Today, it unveiled yet another innovation, the 360-degree Flow Forged Wheel.

Making its debut at the Manila International Auto Show that takes place from April 5-8, 2018 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, the latest Rota product promises to take art and science to a whole new level.

Beyond the marketing fluff, the 360-degree Flow Forged Wheels are essentially wheels made using an innovative manufacturing process that promises even better driving performance. Unlike the usual casting process, the Flow Forged Wheel undergoes flow forging. This involves gravity casting aluminum ingots, heating the mold, and eventually forming the wheel itself.

The process, as you will see, combines forging and casting. The net effect is a lighter and more durable wheel. This helps improve overall driving performance as unsprung weight is reduced, as well as durability ensured. This is a revolution in wheel technology, note the folks from PAWI..

The Rota 360-degree Flow Forged Wheels will soon be available both locally and globally through Rota dealers. In the meantime, you can check them out along with the latest in the auto industry at MIAS 2018.
