Autobot Offroad Philippines, the premier modification, accessories and maintenance shop for 4x4, off-road, and overlanding vehicles in the country, celebrated their 16th Anniversary on August 9, 2023 with the theme “We Grow, We Learn, We Experience”. The anniversary celebrations started with a holy mass at the Autobot Offroad HQ+ main office in Project 8, Quezon City.

Autobot, which was named after the Transformer robots of which President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Randy Lao was a big fan, started as a small carwash and detailing shop in 2007. It quickly evolved into Autobot Autoworks after it started marketing and installing car parts and accessories while servicing and modifying their customers’ vehicles.

Venturing Off-Road

As the automobile market grew and diversified, CEO Randy and Chief Operations Officer (COO) Ken Lao saw the potential of the vast and relatively untapped 4x4, off-road and overlanding market and evolved the company into Autobot Offroad PH, as it is known today. To further increased their mastery of the off-road market, the Autobot officers attend the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, as well as other shows in order to offer the latest aftermarket upgrades and modifications for pickup trucks and SUVs.

After partnering with high-quality brands such as Profender, Fuel Offroad, BF Goodrich, Michelin, Nitto Tires, Ridemax, Hamer, Option4WD, TJM, and others, then strengthening their main branch in Project 8, Quezon City and adding several branches nationwide from as far as North Luzon and Southern Mindanao, Autobot Offroad PH ventured overseas by opening two branches in Qatar through a franchised partnership with the S’hail Group.

PMS Shop at HQ+

During their 16th Anniversary celebrations, Autobot officially and formally inaugurated their multi-bay service shop inside the Autobot Offroad HQ+ at No. 77 Road 20, Barangay Bahay Toro, Project 8, Quezon City. With the theme, “Your Rigs, Our Care”, the Autobot Service Center offers periodic maintenance service (PMS), oil change and tune-up, wheel balancing, camber and alignment, brakes and underchassis service.

Customers can also choose from a wide selection and sizes of tires from Michelin, BF Goodrich, Apollo, Arivo, Nitto, Cooper Tires, Dunlop, Toyo, Maxxis, and Mickey Thompson as well as aftermarket wheels from Volk Racing, Fuel Offroad, XD Wheels, KMC Wheels, VLF Wheels, Black Rhino, Jaos, and Wald. The Autobot Service Center also offers accessories, detailing and total car care services.

President and CEO Randy Lao hopes that by offering PMS and other automotive services through the Autobot Service Center, they can serve and satisfy their loyal customers more faithfully. He attributes God’s divine grace as the source of the company’s 16 years of strength and success, considers everybody in the organization as the pillars of the company motto #AutobotStrong, and looks forward to more years of growth and expansion to continue their vision of promoting a homegrown Filipino brand into the world market.
