After three years of fueling learning in some of the highest need public high schools around the country, Caltex Philippines, through its official marketer, Chevron Philippines Inc, once again embarks on its award-winning Fuel Your School campaign. For this year, it heads up north to the Ilocos region and the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR).
Together with partner Northern Star Energy Corporation, Caltex will raise P3 million that will be used to fund educational projects in some of the highest need public high schools in Northenr Luzon. Participating Caltex stations in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Mountain Province, and the Caltex station in Upper Session Road in Baguio City will donate P1 for every liter of fuel purchased from June 1 to July 31, 2018.
The said proceeds will be used to fund projects for the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) for public high schools. Some 30 schools were chosen by the American Chamber Foundation Philippines and the Department of Education. Northern Star started thngs off with a P1.5 million donation.
With this project, more deserving students will have a shot at a brighter future.
