A few weeks back, Toyota Australia showed off a life-size version of the all-new Camry. Now, another full-scale model made out of Lego bricks shows up to wow car and toy enthusiasts. This one is the Porsche 911 Turbo.
While this isn’t Porsche’s first time to be immortalized in Lego, nor is it the first life-sized Porsche-Lego set, what makes this quite unique is that it takes its cue straight from the Lego Speed Champions set. The Porsche Speed Champions set consists of a 911 RSR and a 1970s Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0. The large Lego kit is a scaled-up version of the latter, as seen from the photos.
While Lego has been mum about how the huge toy was built, Porsche is proud to show it off to the world. It will be on display at the Porsche Museum until today, April 19. It will then be shipped to the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, which runs from April 21 to 29.
