Wanting to know more about Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus? OR perhaps you’re on the lookout for the latest the Japanese brand has in store? Or maybe you want to take photographs of Lexus’ elegant yet sporty line of models? Whatever the reason you have in mind, this is your chance to get closer to Lexus and check out how its brand of cars are styled and engineered to the highest quality of Japanese standards.

That’s because from June 13 to 19, Lexus will be displaying some of its hottest models at the Rockwell Powerplant in Makati. Caching the attention will be the IS sport sedan, RX crossover, and the flagship LS for visitors to see and experience.

The craftsmanship of Lexus will be showcased with this fine selection of models. These cars are best seen and felt up close, as it is through the senses that the creations of Takumi master craftsmen are best appreciated.

These highly skilled Takumi, therefore, play a key role in delivering the unrivaled quality present in every Lexus vehicle. They are the guardians of Lexus’ artisan philosophy. They are the craftspeople that have the responsibility of applying the most subtle and finely tuned human senses to the production process: sight that can see marks invisible to the untrained eye, hearing that can tune an engine with surgical precision, and touch that can detect imperfections of a fraction of a millimeter.

The pinnacle of Takumi craftsmanship is the Lexus LS flagship sedan. Developed with the aim of greatly enhancing the exceptional quietness and comfort that represent the Lexus DNA, the LS is the culmination of thorough craftsmanship applied to even the smallest component―all the way from the vehicle's powertrain and suspension to the positioning of the stitch points of the seats.

Even body contact against the seat surfaces have been analyzed, and improvements were made by distributing more area from the upper back and behind the knees to the surface of the leather. This means a larger area supports the body, and the result is better seat-holding.

Exclusive to the LS Premiere variant is the ‘kiriko’ glass art ornamentation which is a traditional Japanese craft that is highlighted in the LS interior. Rear seat passengers can also enjoy the retractable ottoman with adjustable seat cushions that support the calves. These, and many more features, are yours to discover when you slide into the cockpit of the LS.

The Lexus IS line, as well as the Lexus RX, will be on display at the Rockwell Powerplant as well.

A perfect synthesis of form and function, the Lexus IS is engineered for exhilaration. Since its debut in 1999, this exceptional sports sedan has pursued the fun of driving and served as a whetstone for honing drivers’ reflexes. Earning its popularity with high-level driving performance and sporty styling, the latest evolution of the IS lets you rediscover the thrill of driving. This uncompromising attention to detail has resulted in the most exciting IS yet, and a driving experience that's superb both on and off the track.

The RX fits right into an active lifestyle with a sophisticated blend of the comfort of a luxury car and the driving pleasure and added convenience of a high-riding SUV. It asserts its presence on a variety of roads and diverse driving conditions. Under its hood is a 3.5-liter V6 direct-injection engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Keeping things in control is Adaptive Variable Suspension which continually adjusts shock absorber damping rates in real time. Not only does this inspire driver confidence, it also keeps the ride buttery smooth—as expected from a Lexus.
