MV Agusta has made a name for itself in the world of fast and aggressive-looking sports bikes for the past 70 years and counting. With that being said, it’s not surprising that its brand and vibe has caught the attention of thrill-seeking Filipino riders before.

Yes, not many knew that MV Agusta has been in the country since about half a decade ago. But through its official local distributor Motostrada, the Italian brand is all out in reintroducing itself to the local market with a full line up of fast and fierce bikes for the thrill-seeking Pinoy rider.

In a recent brand re-launch event, Motostrada formally introduced 3 of MV Agusta’s hottest big bikes set to take on the street fighter, sport, and touring classes. These are the Brutale (800, 800 Pirelli, 800 RR, Dragster 800 RR), F4 (675, 800), and Turismo Veloce (Lusso 800, Lusso 800 SCS).

It also introduced its new showroom in Caloocan, as well as an upcoming showroom to be operational by the 3rd quarter of this year.

In this light, MV Agusta’s Head of Sales Far East, Judah Sangaran, led the grand reveal and a brief brand talk. In front of the night’s special guests, motorcycle enthusiasts, and local motoring media, Sangaran was quoted as saying, “It brings me great joy to be here for the MV Agusta brand launch in The Philippines. After quite a number of years, we have finally arrived in the Philippines with a beautiful showroom in Caloocan, and an exclusive MV Agusta store will be open by the July this year. MV Agusta has come a long way in these last five years. We have a new CEO, Mr. Timur Sardarov since November 2018, and with his leadership together with the President, Mr. Giovanni Castiglioni we have tremendously improved our spare parts availability and delivery, and production of our bikes are on a rise.”

Motostrada has yet to reveal the pricing and date of availability of the MV Agusta bikes mentioned here. But Sangaran assured that Filipino riders will soon get to enjoy MV Agusta in style with a competitive price range, plus a wide selection of accessories and merchandise, and a comprehensive after-sales service.
