GAC MOTOR PHILIPPINES announced a remarkable 7-month streak of record sales performance, achieving an impressive 276% year-over-year growth, selling a total of 825 units in this period.

The announcement was made by Franz Decloedt, marketing director of Astara Philippines, at the GAC Discovery Drive Fest, a three-day mall display and customer test drive event at the Glorietta 2, Ayala Center, Makati City.  Running until the 27th of August 2023, the event allows customers to experience firsthand the innovation, quality and craftsmanship that GAC Motor vehicles are renowned for.

Our brand's dedication to delivering cutting-edge vehicles that cater to the evolving needs and preferences of our Filipino customers has been the driving force behind this impressive sales trajectory,” Decloedt said.

Raoul Picello, managing director of Astara Philippines, formally opened the 3-day event with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the presence of special guests.

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has played a role in our success story – our customers who have chosen to drive with us, our partners who have supported our endeavors, and our dedicated team members who have worked tirelessly to make this all possible,” shared Picello.

All-New GS8 4WD 7-Seater SUV

To mark this momentous achievement and continue the momentum, GAC Motor gave a preview of the all-new GS8 4WD 7-seater SUV at the GAC Discovery Drive Fest. This groundbreaking vehicle promises to uplift customer demand for GAC Motor’s flagship SUV. Initially offered in 2WD, the GS8 will now come in a 4WD option as a response to GAC Motor’s discerning customers who want a perfectly capable premium SUV for offroad trips.

“The GS8 has had tremendous success since being launched in the Philippines and continues to be one of our best-selling nameplates.  It is masterfully-designed to exude confidence on the road and is perfect for customers seeking distinction and refinement in their SUV,” added Decloedt.

The full-size seven-seater SUV combines form and function, and has the complete package of style, quality, safety and reliability. The 4WD variant has the same features of the 2WD plus some enhancements, such as additional drive modes for various terrains, a 10-speaker Alpine Sound System, and a ventilated front central armrest compartment.

Price, Customer Bookings and Reservations

The All-New GS8 4WD SUV will be offered at a special introductory price of PHP 2,548,000*. Booking for reservations for the All-New GS8 4WD SUV is ongoing at all GAC MOTOR dealerships nationwide. All units come with a five-year warranty and customer deliveries will begin very soon. 

GAC MOTOR dealerships are located in 16 locations, namely Alabang, Bacoor, Batangas City, Butuan, Cainta, Cebu, Davao, E. Rodriguez Ave. (New Manila), Iloilo, Lipa City, Makati, Manila Bay, Pampanga, Pasig, Quezon Avenue, and Tarlac.
