The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Cybersecurity Month, now on its third week, provided the perfect venue for key industry players to take part in insightful and fruitful discussions related to cybersecurity and digital lending. This is part of a bigger effort to shine the light on two of the most important topics on the road to making a digitally healthier and much safer Digital Pilipinas.
In an exclusive, by-invitation only roundtable discussion, the primary themes of cybersecurity-centered digital transformation and improved digital lending were the primary focus points as we anchored on the Philippine government's call-to-action, "Sama-sama para sa Cyberseguridad."
Organized in partnership with Digital Pilipinas, the DICT Cybersecurity Bureau presents, "Digital Transformation through Cybersecurity: Keeping Smart Cities, Energy Insurance, Health, and Logistics Industries Safe and Secure," and "The Next Growth Area in Digital Lending: The Future of Fintech, Banks, and SMEs."
The Philippine Cybersecurity Month 2023, led by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), puts great emphasis on our collective role in improving our country's cybersecurity posture and enabling a digitally safer Philippines.
It serves as the perfect lead up to the inaugural TrustTech and Cybersecurity Festival, happening during the upcoming Digital Pilipinas Festival Year 2, which is set to run from November 20-24, at the SMX Aura Convention Center and in various co-located venues and innovation hubs across the country.
