As Volvo Cars moves towards putting into place its next-generation Sensus vehicle infotainment system, it likewise ties up with Google to offer a wide range of Google apps that will be embedded in the system.

Apps like Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Play Store, and other Google services can easily be installed and utilized to make the most out of the vehicle’s various functions. Moreover, the connected car capabilities of new Volvos allow users to update their Google Apps in real-time.

Google Assistant, for instance, is a voice-controlled software that allows users to call up different functions by simply saying them out loud. One can manipulate things like air-conditioning, infotainment system, and other vehicle functions. Google Maps, on the other hand, helps drivers navigate to and from their destination by plotting the fastest and most efficient route.

Aside from these, other Google applications are available for download in real-time. It’s all part of allowing users to keep in touch and stay connected even while on the move. And of course, being part of the vehicle’s infotainment system means they can do so without compromising their safety or of those around them.
