Hyundai General Santos, the first dealership in Mindanao to be given a “Narra” pre-certification by the Philippine Green Building Initiative for Best Green Practices and the first Hyundai dealership in Mindanao to implement the new Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) standard.

With a call to Build, Build, Build, along with an earmarked P1 trillion budget, the national government is bent on beefing up the country’s infrastructure come 2018. In line with this, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc (HARI) also looks to help meet this with its own expansion next eyar.

At present, HARI already has four dealerships in Mindanao: one in Davao, another in Zamboanga, a third in General Santos, and yet another one in Cagayan de Oro. As statistics show, these places are major growth centers, with Davao growing by 9.4 percent. Northern Mindanao, meanwhile, netted a gross regional domestic product of P305 million in the last six years.

HARI sees these as an opportunity not only to offer its fine line of vehicles but to help fuel this growth even further. It plans to do so by putting forth its line of commercial vehicles that can boost the country’s transport and logistics sector.

HARI will be fielding a host of commercial vehicle dealerships in ten key locations in CALABARZON, Viasayas, and Mindanao by the first quarter of 2018. These dealerships will be offering a wide variety of trucks, buses, and special-purpose vehicles that meet the needs of SMEs and large-scale businesses.

All these are aimed at helping to move the country and its people to greater heights.
