With 2018 just around the corner, car companies are slowly bringing out their all-new or refreshed models. Honda Cars Philippines is one of them, quietly rolling out the 2018 Honda Odyssey.

The updated Odyssey retains the current-generation’s stylish lines but adds a few touches to keep things fresh. The EX variant, for instance, now sports new front and rear bumpers, halogen foglights, and a Platinum front grille. The aero design is complemented by equally new 16-inch alloy rims.

The top-of-the-line EX-V Navi, on the other hand, receives Dark Chrome touches on the front grille and door handles. The front fascia is made even more chic with a revised front bumper, while the rear LED guide-type taillights and the 17-inch alloys complete the package.

This being a minivan, it’s the cabin that gets a fair share of the upgrades. The EX-V Navi receives new Black Wood and Silver Trim Panels, along with a capacious armrest with center console for the front row seats. This allows the driver and  front passenger to stow large objects that suit their mobile lifestyle.

While it may not exactly be as luxurious as the 7-seat, leather-clad EX-V Navi variant, the 8-seater EX trim still gets comfortable fabric seats, as well as a host of comfort and convenience features. Both grades get the patented Magic Seat third row that allows flexible seating for three or vast amounts of cargo. The latter option can be done by folding the seats into the floor.

Both EX and EX-V Navi variants now come with Smart Entry Push Start System, as well as a 7-inch Touch Display audio system that boasts handsfree Telephone and audio streaming. The higher-spec EX-V avi also gets a 9-inch rear entertainment display with DVD and HDMI capability.

And of course, this Honda comes loaded with a slew of safety features. The new Odyssey is packed with 6 SRS airbags, ABS and EBD, Vehicle Stability Assist, Multi-View Reverse Camera, and Speed Sensing Door Locks. The EX-V Navi ups the ante with Blind Spot Information, Multi-View Camera,  Cross-Traffic Monitor, and an updated Smart Parking Assist system.

The 2018 Honda Odyssey is now available at your friendly Honda dealer with a suggested retail price of P2,039,000 for the EX variant and P2,449,000 for the top-spec EX-V Navi.
