The Hyundai 45 Concept gives us a peek into the future by drawing inspiration from the past

One can only move forward if one is able to look back at where it all began.

This is a saying that reminds us to always be mindful of where we came from.

This way, we can be grounded enough wherever life may take us.

This seems to be the driving force behind the latest concept car from Hyundai Motor Company, the 45 Concept.

Set to be unveiled at this year’s IAA Frankfurt Motor Show, it is a design study that draws inspiration from the past.

It takes styling cues from the Korean carmaker’s very first model, the Pony, which saw daylight in the 1970s.

Of course, the lines have been modernized, made futuristic even, says Hyundai.

While no tech specs have been served up, Hyundai did point out that it will be a pure electric vehicle.

And that it will be show the way for the brand’s future direction.

We’ll all get to know what all this means come September 10, 2019 when the 45 Concept is unveiled.

The Frankfurt Motor Show will run from September 10-22, 2019.
