IDOOH Philippines Managing Director Jules Salonga and Voyager Innovations Managing Director and VP Dindo Marzan team up to mobilize digitization of in-vehicle OOH and provide an interactive ride experience to the hyper-connected Filipino.
Are you bored out of your wits while stuck in traffic? This may soon be a thing of the past, especially if you avail of any of IDOOH’s Transport Vehicle Network Service (TNVS) ride-sharing partners. Beginning this October, IDOOH Philippines will be fielding some 100 in-vehicle displays that will stream content while on the move.
Thanks to a partnership with Voyager Innovations Inc’s Freenet, In-Vehicle Digital Out of Home (IDOOH) Philippines will be able to stream such content as news, shopping entertainment, games, lifestyle, and sports. All this wll be channeled thru screens deployed in about 100 of its driver-partner vehicles.
Driver-partners need not worry about data charges and the like as all this will come courtesy of Freenet. This means uninterrupted service for their passengers, no matter where they are in Metro Manila—where the three-month pilot program will initially be deployed. Should the program prove successful, it will eventually be rolled out in more vehicles in other parts of the country.
All this is in line with IDOOH and Voyager’s goal of providing a different kind of ride-sharing experience to the public. Moreover, it understands their desire to stay connected even while on the go. With this, we expect to see more folks somehow dreading traffic just a tad less from now on.
