With many businesses on the rise these days, the demand for safe and reliable transport and logistics carriers is likewise on the upswing. Isuzu Philippines Corporation sees this as an opportunity to introduce its latest line of medium- to heavy-duty trucks: the N-, C- and F-Series.

Unveiled last week alongside the refreshed D-Max and Mu-X, the Isuzu truck line boasts of a slew of features that promise to make life safer and more comfortable for the driver, as well as help business owners better manage their fleet.

All the new features were demonstrated during a recent driving event for members of the motoring media, held at the Honda Safety Driving Center in Paranaque City. Here, participants got to try out the performance of the new Blue Power line of diesel motors, as well as some cool features like the revised interiors and the like.

The Blue Power line-up of diesel motors, for instance, are designed to meet stricter Euro-4 emissions requirements. This means they are cleaner and provide better power and fuel economy. This is good news for business folks as they are assured of lower gas bills while their trucks are capable of tackling more demanding roads with the uprated power and torque.

The biggest draw of the new Isuzu truck line, however, is arguably the MIMAMORI vehicle telematics systems. This new innovation makes it possible for fleet owners to get real-time vehicle information such as engine condition, vehicle location, and fuel consumption. One can even monitor driver behavior using data such as gear shifting patterns, braking, and the like.

By using this info, business owners and cargo transport operators can achieve lower fuel costs, plot faster yet safer routes, and ultimately increase productivity. And as mentioned, all this can be done remotely using GPS and other technologies.

Of course, the driver and and his companions are not left out of the equation. Isuzu made sure to put in features that make their time on the road safer and more stress-free. The new trucks’ cab, for example, employs the Hexapod design. This innovative look is both pleasing to the eye and has a sound structure.

Apart from this, the N-Series gets a new bumper design, automatic door locks, updated meter cluster, and a more rigid chassis. The C- and F-Series, meanwhile, receive a new access panel, an uprated 2.9L motor, and the aforementioned MIMAMORI tracking system.

All told, the latest line of Isuzu trucks look like they are ready to take on the demands on the growing business community.
