The name JAC is no stranger to the Philippine automotive landscape. The Chinese marque has been offering commercial vehicles for quite some time now. Yet it seems like it is ready to venture into more mainstream territory as it recently introduced a slew of passenger vehicles, along with the opening of a new showroom.
Triesenburg Auto Corporation (TAC), an affiliate of the Lica Auto Group, has teamed up with JAC Motors of China to field a rather extensive line of SUVs, passenger cars, and pick-ups. These vehicles, TAC officials say, will cater to a wide range of customers looking for quality yet affordable vehicles.
The sedan series, for instance, includes the J4 sedan. The passenger vans consist of the M3 and M4, while the SUVs are the S1, S2, S3, and S7. There are also commercial vehicles such as the T6 pickup, X200 light truck, and the Sunray van that will most likely appeal to business owners. Each of these vehicles is powered by a diesel motor, with the exception of the sedan that gets a 1.5-liter gasoline mill.
