December 1, 2023

The Kia Seltos is ready to take the highly competitive subcompact SUV segment by storm. With its stylish exterior, premium interior, smart safety features, and ease of ownership, the Seltos speaks to a new generation of car owner who is looking for an SUV that is a cut above the rest.

The new Seltos is one of the most evolved, safer, and smarter SUVs available in the Philippines. It boasts of a new-age design and a host of safety features including the ADAS suite available in the segment today.

Designed to appeal to consumers who enjoy life on the move, the Seltos sports a sharpened design—inside and out. A number of exterior details have been thoughtfully revamped with futuristic and technical shapes to keep the Seltos fresh among the crowded field of small SUVs. The larger grille emphasizes width and gives Seltos a stronger appearance, with the front grille bookended by new LED headlamps. The available Star Map signature lighting across the front grille creates a distinct image so passersby and drivers will recognize Seltos from a distance.

The new rigid shapes on the front bumper lend the Seltos a more confident and rugged stance. The vertical-shaped fog lights are integrated with daytime running lights for a cleaner look. The rear lighting design on the tailgate, plus the backup lamp and rear reflector on the lower bumper mimics the signature lighting in the front. The Seltos also sports a new geometric wheel design.

The Seltos’ interior space offers a futuristic vibe with bright screens and clean, geometric shapes. Inside, the standard dual panoramic displays are the centerpiece of the futuristic and modern cabin. Available as a segment-first, these dual panoramic screens combine the 10.25-inch instrument cluster and 10.25-inch center display. Other notable improvements to the interior include a new crash pad with a modern, bold center garnish that matches with horizontal layout while still inheriting geometric heritage; a high-tech interface for integrated control of infotainment and air conditioning features; a panoramic sunroof; dual auto A/C; wireless charging; and mood lamps. ADAS features on the top trim level include Smart Cruise Control and Forward Collision Assist.

The new Seltos is available in three variants and two engine choices.

* New Kia Seltos 1.5 LX: P1,198,000

* New Kia Seltos 1.5 EX: P1,288,000

* New Kia Seltos 1.4 Turbo SX: P1,688,000

These engines will suit the needs of Kia’s customer base. The 1.5L MPI engine boasts excellent fuel efficiency and performance, while the 1.4L turbocharged engine delivers a sportier edge for a more thrilling drive.

The Seltos LX and EX variants come standard with 8” touchscreen audio; wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; Rear-Camera Display; Driver and Front Passenger Airbags; 6 Speakers; and single zone Auto A/C. The Seltos EX also comes with Smart Entry + Push Start, Power Fold Side Mirrors and LED headlamps and DRLs.
