Lenovo PH celebrates Fathers’ Day with the special edition Yoga 920 Star Wars laptop

Chinese tech giant Lenovo, through its official local distributor Lenovo Philippines, is one with all in celebrating Fathers’ Day. With this in mind, it highlights the Yoga 920, its flagship model laptop that’s engineered to suit the modern-day dad who work hard for the family and plays harder with the family.

For starters, Lenovo Philippines is offering the Yoga 920 with a special edition Star Wars body design. It comes in 2 choices; the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Without delving too deep into the very complex Star Wars lore, the former is a military force that rules the galaxy using fear and intimidation. The latter, on the other hand, is a resistance faction born out of the mission to overthrow the Empire and restore peace.

Within the lightweight, all-metal body of the Lenovo Yoga 920 is a powerful 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor and Windows 10 operating system. What these do is to serve as dad’s handy-dandy tool for all sorts of computer-related tasks. Best part is that he can see and hear results via the device’s 4K touch screen display and Dolby Atmos audio, respectively.

These are boosted by Cortana, an intelligent, interactive voice-activated assistance software at the ready to launch an assortment of programs just by hearing dad’s commanding words for up to 4 meters away.

Just imagine dad asserting his force over a clogged toilet while holding a plunger and shouting out loud, “Cortana, save that presentation and put on the Imperial March theme music. I be showin’ this toilet who the real father is around here!” while the laptop is nestled comfortably in the living room table. Kidding aside, this is a dependable tool to make dad’s work easier, allowing him to do multitasking in style.

Aside from Cortana, the Lenovo Yoga 920 also comes with Thunderbolt docks compatible with devices using USB 3.0 and an optional Lenovo Active Pen 2 with 4,096 levels of pen-on-paper sensitivity and Windows Ink compatibility. In other words, dad can utilize the Yoga 920 as a digital notepad and sketchpad for work and for unleashing his artistic side.
