MACC chooses the Volkswagen Santana

One transport solution leads to another. The Volkswagen Santana becomes a premium addition to MACC's fleet that employees will use to serve the needs of their truck and bus customers.

First was CW Home Depot, which took delivery of the Volkswagen Santana in July.  This was soon followed by Diamond Rent-a-Car that received its Santana fleet in October. In the same month, a third company, MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corporation (MACC), joined the growing number of companies that put their trust in VW Philippines’ newest subcompact sedan.

Just like the other two companies, MACC believes that the P686,000 pricetag of the China-built Santana is good value for money. The Made in China moniker didn’t stop it from seeing that this is still a premium German sedan with the same engineering that can be found in other VW offerings.

Moreover, the 1.4-liter 90hp and 132Nm of torque motor mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox mean that MACC’s technicians and staff won’t be spending too much on fuel while en route to service their equally world-class trucks and buses. And they should know their cars since they, too, are responsible for the numerous trucks and buses that are plying our country’s roads, servicing a wide range of transport and logistics businesses.

Of course, the VW Santana is backed by a comprehensive 3-year, 100,000km warranty with a service interval of every 10,000kms. This essentially means that owners will be on the road longer and worrying less about service.

With all these traits, we can expect to see more companies getting a Volkswagen Santana in the near future.
