Last April, Michelin launched its Michelin Safe on the Road campaign at S&R Pampanga. After a successful run, the tire maker is back with another installment of the road safety initiative, this time at S&R Aseana in Baclaran.

Held last May 24 and 25, 2018, the Safe on the Road campaign was meant to educate motorists on proper vehicle and tire maintenance to ensure road safety. This campaign, for those who are unaware, was originally known as the Fill Up With Air initiative. As the name suggests, it was aimed at instilling the habit of checking if your tires are properly inflated—a basic maintenance procedure to help improve fuel economy and yes, keep you safe on the road.

Aside from educating motorists, their vehicles were also given free checkups, along with their tires. A total of 50 vehicles were checked during the two-day event.

After the May event, Michelin will head to other S&R branches in and around the country until the end of 2018.
