Founded in America in 1898, Goodyear has become a world leader in making great quality tires for road and track use. It’s also worth noting that in its 120 years in the business, it has successfully made its presence known in the Philippines since 1919.

If a tire company has been around in our local market as far back as almost a century ago, then that says a lot about its success. To celebrate this, Goodyear Philippines recently launched the successor to its popular Assurance TripleMax tires. It’s the Goodyear Assurance TripleMax 2, and it boasts a new technology called HydroTred that promises drivers better grip, stopping power, comfort, and safety, especially on wet driving conditions.

One headline asset of the HydroTred technology in the Assurance TripleMax 2 is that it allows the driver to maximize his or her vehicle’s braking system. This is due to the HydroTred’s use of boosted compound formulation with additional adhesive resin. Simply put; this new version of the Assurance TripleMax is stickier and has lesser tendencies of losing traction, thus complimenting the already powerful braking systems of most vehicles today.

Speaking of stickier compound, the Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2’s HydroTred technology is also applied using a symmetric pattern that highlights the compound’s improved surface gripping capabilities. It boasts a more squared-off pattern that improves handling and steering.

Finally, the new shoulder groove design helps improve sound deadening, making riding comfort all the more enjoyable.

The new Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2 is available for all types of vehicles ranging from subcompact cars to luxury large SUVs. Refer to the chart below for the complete size guide.
