Local car enthusiasts are aware that more than a few exotic and ultra-premium car brands have already set up shop in the country.  You’ve got Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche, Bentley, Lotus, and Rolls-Royce, just to name a distinguished few. Pretty soon, one more ultra high-end marque will be joining the ranks: Pagani.

The announcement was made by the Autohub Group, which will be the Italian hypercar maker’s official distributor in the Philippines. Led by Mr. Willy Tee Ten, the multi-brand automotive company already has a portfolio of high end brands in its stable. These include Rolls-Royce, Mini, and Lotus. It likewise handles the only appointed Nissan dealer to sell the vaunted GT-R and GT-R Nismo, Nissan High Performance Center.

As for Pagani Automobili, it was founded by Horacio Pagani, a former Lamborghini engineer who ventured on his own to create his own line of hypercars whose main selling point is the use of lightweight carbon composites. Formed in 1992, Pagani’s first model was the Zonda, which went on sale from 1999 to 2012. It was eventually succeeded by the Huayra. This hypercar is the only Pagani being sold at the moment.

With the eventual arrival of Pagani in the country, it looks like car nuts have another reason to rejoice.
