The national government’s Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program got a shot in the arm as yet another transport cooperative joined the fray recently and took delivery of a fleet of Modern PUVs.
The Pandacan Transport Services and Multi-purpose Cooperative took delivery of 30 Hino Class II Modern PUVS.
Thanks to a loan from the Development Bank of the Philippines, the Pandacan transport group was able to acquire an initial 25 units from Hino, with the remaining 5 units arriving upon completing inspection.
All these units are set to ply the Pandacan-Leon Guinto route.
With this, it is clear that the government is truly on its way to a modern transport sector.
And hopefully, this would not only be because of new vehicles but a new way of driver behavior while on the road.
Just saying.
