Prestone is well-known in the Philippines for its brand of brake fluids. Recently though, it launched a new product to help motorists enjoy more worry free journeys with their rides. Introducing, the Prestone Motor Oil.
The Prestone Motor Oil is specially formulated to help gasoline- or diesel-fed turbo and non-turbo engines run smoother and cleaner. It is made in Singapore by Prestone’s ISO-certified refinery plant which uses high grade base oils and other additives from the brand’s pool of trusted resources.
These help the lubricant attain a high viscosity rate, one of the key factors why it’s well suited for tropical climates like that of the Philippines’. This is according to the Society of Automotive Engineers International (SAE), a USA-based automotive engineering standards development group. In relation to this, the American Petroleum Institute (API), a trade organization for oil and natural gas, has given the Prestone Motor Oil its Seal of Approval (also known as the API Donut).
The Prestone Motor Oil is available in the Philippines in 2 formulations; 1 for gasoline engines (G-Tech) and 1 for diesel motors (D-Tech 500). The former comes in 3 kinds; the G-Tech Advance SAE 10W-40, the G-Tech Synblend SAE 5W-40, and the G-Tech Full Synthetic SAE 5W-40. The D-Tech 500, on the other hand, is available in Synblend and Full Synthetic variants.
