RCBC PISO Fare Cashback Promo: Tap to Ride on LRT-2!

PROMO MECHANICS

1. The Piso Fare Promo "The Promo” is open to all RCBC Visa and Mastercard Credit Cardholders "The Eligible Cardholder/s or The Cardholder/s” whose accounts are active and in good credit standing.
2. Promo period is from July 13 to 31, 2026.
   PROMO EXTENDED UNTIL AUGUST 31, 2026 APPROVED BY DTI-FTEB
3. Cardholders are entitled to enjoy ₱1.00 Fare at LRT-2 during the promo period.
   The reward for this promo is fulfilled in the form of a CASHBACK, ensuring the Cardholder pays a net amount of exactly One Peso (₱1.00) per qualified transit journey. 
4. To avail of the promo, the cardholder must:
   1. Tap to enter (origin station)
      Tap their eligible RCBC Credit Card or NFC-enabled device with an eligible RCBC Credit Card registered on Google Pay at the dedicated contactless payment turnstiles.
   2. Tap to exit (destination station)
      Upon reaching the destination station, tap the exact same card on the designated turnstile to complete the journey.The standard fare per transit journey will initially be charged or held against the RCBC Credit Card balance of the cardholder upon tapping out, as standard transaction rules apply. Then the standard fare transit journey minus ₱1.00 will be automatically credited back to the cardholder’s account.

SAMPLE CASHBACK COMPUTATION

Cashback calculations for this promo are based strictly on the current standard fare initially charged at the turnstiles, as determined by the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA)/Department of Transportation (DOTr). See current standard fare as of March26, 2026.

5. The cardholder can earn ₱300 CASHBACK for each of his/her RCBC Credit Cards during the promo period.

6. Transactions made by the Supplementary cardholder are qualified as part of the Primary cardholder’s spend.

7. Cashback will be credited to cardholders’ accounts based on the schedule below:

8. Cardholders who earned cashback will be notified by via SMS within ten (10) banking days from crediting of cashback, and will be shown on the Cardholders’ Statement of Account (SOA).

9. Cashbacks are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash, however, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases or any outstanding balance on the next statement cycle of the Card.

10. Cardholder must be active and in good credit standing at the time of crediting of cashback, otherwise, the earned cashback shall be forfeited.

11. RCBC Bankard Services Corp./ RCBC Credit Cards reserves the right to reverse the amount of the cashback awarded to the Principal and Supplementary Cardholder in the event that the qualifying transactions were cancelled at a later date or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions.

12. By joining this promo, the Cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agrees to be bound by the mechanics of the promo.

13. In case of dispute, in respect of but not limited to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, transaction qualification, and fulfillment, RCBC Bankard Services Corp/ RCBC Credit Card’s decision shall prevail with the concurrence of DTI. All decisions made will be deemed final and non-negotiable. All questions or disputes shall be raised by the Cardholder within thirty (30) days after crediting of cashback.
