This Rolls-Royce Phantom Has Been Transformed Into a Rolling Recording Studio

The Rolls-Royce name has always been closely associated with the music world. That’s because more than a few big-name rock stars and musicians who have reached a certain stature want to live it up by purchasing nothing but the best. And one of these symbols is their very own Rolls-Royce.

The latest one to ride around in the lap of luxury is Joseph Junior Adenuga, or Skepta to you and me. The musician didn’t just tool around in total comfort, however, but actually made use of his Phantom in a rather interesting way. Skepta used his ride as a rolling recording studio.

Yes, the Mercury Music Prize and MOBO awardee put together his latest track, Skepta RR, all while inside the luxurious cabin of his Rolls-Royce Phantom. Moreover, he recorded the song while touring around Lake Lucerne and the Swiss mountains.

He notes that the truly serene environment within the Phantom’s interior helped make this possible. The more than 130kg of sound deadening material, coupled with 6mm glazing were some of the keys that helped create this silence. It truly isolates occupants from what’s out there.

With this latest collaboration, we can say that Rolls-Royce is truly the musician’s ride.
